导演运用了非洲的巫术文化来增加电影的喜剧特性，同样以诸多世相来揭示当代德国的社会问题，同性恋、家庭暴力、精神病、艾滋病、不忠在电影里都有表现，而女主角的善心终于赢得了新的爱情，这样一个充满光明的结尾有着女性导演的善心，作为 “德国新电影”一个不断有佳作出现的女性导演，在这部以无厘头表现人际关系的社会喜剧里她以带泪的幽默让我们发现了世界爱心和爱意的可能。虽然不算出色，但是电影表现的人文关怀和爱心会给一些启迪。
