「OUT OF 48」は17年の歴史を重ねたAKB48がまた1からアイドル活動をスタートさせるべく、日本テレビとタッグを組むオーディションプロジェクト。プロデュースはblowoutの代表取締役でCEOの一ノ宮佑貴が務め、AKB48の魅力を最大限に生かしつつ、「ガーリー・ポップ×ダンスナンバー」がイメージのグループを目指す。
一般応募も含めたオーディション参加者の募集は本日2月24日にスタート。なお「OUT OF 48」のビジュアルではAKB48 17期研究生の平田侑希がモデルを務めた。
