风和日丽的日子，唐老鸭（克拉伦斯·纳什 Clarence Nash 配音）带着三个小外甥在林间小屋度假。小家伙们带着狮子面具，在林中玩起了猎人抓狮子的游戏。他们玩得不亦乐乎，笑坐一团，一瞥眼看见唐老鸭正将新鲜出炉的派放在窗台上。小家伙们顿时升起恶作剧之心，一通密谋过后，便搬成狮子吓唬唐老鸭。他们的诡计奏效，唐老鸭吓得四处乱窜，然而得意忘形之时伪装也被拆穿，这令唐老鸭气急败坏。

为此，古菲和大象展开了一系列斗智斗勇的战争……
